3 Principles That Guide My Business Writing

  1. There’s a great story waiting to be told. The business world and business people are inherently interesting. There’s no need for pomposity or blather. There’s a great need for curiosity, persistence and craft, as I get to the heart of the matter. Questions, research, interviews and discussions with other members of your communications team enable me to tell a clear story that gets your audience to sit up and take notice.
  2. There must be no surprises in the client/writer relationship, even though no project ever goes exactly as anticipated. Skilled project management and ongoing communication are top priority.
  3. Listen carefully, work hard, laugh often. The more difficult the project, the more important your sense of humor becomes.
